Definitely a hidden gem. Took a min to determine the location and drove past twice :). The food took a little bit of time but it was well, well, well, worth the wait. Staff were friendly and informative. Met another couple there and talked about how good the food was. The food was super fresh & hot. Couldn’t wait to get to our destination before eating the food in the car. If I’m ever in Arkansas again, this will be one of my favorite stops.
10/10 The entrance is in the back. Account for 30min+ wait time as everything is made with love. I had the Burger and Thanksgiving Special. The burger patty is made in-house and is without a doubt the top 3 best vegan patties around. The owner’s hospitality is unmatched, she has a lovely spirit. This is now my go to spot when visiting from Chicago. Be sure to read the webpage before ordering.
The food was phenomenal. Every single bite was a 10/10. Homemade with so much care and love. The food may take 30 minutes to make, obviously because it’s not pre made frozen and microwaved fast food. It’s food made with love and a kitchen and fresh out the oven. We got the vegan steak tacos and the burger and a side of Mac n cheese. The main dishes come with a side of potatoes & oh my goodness were they the best home friea ever!
Listen. If you’ve never tried vegan food myself included and you’re thinking about giving it a shot. Try this place right here. I ordered the boss hook ‘em burger/burgers BOTH were ABSOLUTELY delicious!! They have earned a return consistent customer from me, I’ll be back…real SOON!! Service was professional as well, great place all around and, I’ll see you guys soon…🤝🏿
First off, the owner is one of the nicest people you can meet. We arrived and the place was closed. Clearly, there was a mix-up with the operating hours that we read on Google. As we were looking for another place, the owner pulled up in her car. She apologized and told us that the restaurant was closed and that she had some meal prep to get done. After a short conversation, we thanked her. Before we could drive off, she decided right there that she was going to open up the restaurant just for our family. She takes out her groceries from her car, welcomed us into the dining area, and heads to the kitchen to cook us food. We couldn't believe her generosity. And the food was flavorful!!! Everything we had was great. The flavors in her food just stand out! I highly recommend this place. The inside dining area is small, but there are some benches outside. Even if all the dining areas are filled, it's worth ordering and eating in your car.
The burger was hands down the best vegan burger I've ever had. You'll likely miss this place the first time but it's definitely worth it.
Absolutely delicious food! Due to a food allergy I'm only able to eat at vegan restaurants which can be challenging to find. This place is small and somewhat out of the way and I am so grateful to have found it while staying in town! My husband had the chilli and cornbread which he raved about and I had a wonderful burger with twisted potato. We will definitely be going back for more.
These lemon pepper cauliflower wings are delicious!!! ❤️🔥 Cooked to Perfection!! Can't wait to try more from the menu next time I'm in town!!
Some of the best food I've had, not just vegan. I am a meat eater and the island burger was very good, jalapeño slaw was fresh, no pickled jalapeños here! Hand cut fries were excellent, make sure to get the Sriracha ketchup to add some explosive flavor and spice. If her chili and cornbread is on the menu, definitely get it. You'd never know it is vegan. Just the right amount of spice, not over seasoned so you can taste all the fresh ingredients. Cornbread is phenomenal, slightly sweet, but not overpowering. Everything is homemade and farm to table. You won't regret it, even if you're not vegan.
All I have to say is don’t sleep on this Gem, this hole in the wall comes highly recommended. If you are vegan or not, the food is amazing. I would encourage you to place your order and allow time because this is not FAST FOOD. Each order prepared to order and worth the wait.
